January 2018 saw the move from a one person practice to a multi-discipline Integrated Health Centre – quite a change!
I really believed that in order to fully assist every client that an Integrated approach to total Health and Wellbeing was needed. How could I be all things to all clients? Well, obviously I couldn’t! Taking the step to bring together a range of other Practitioners was a pretty scary one. What happened if we didn’t get on? What if they didn’t look after clients? What if….
Forward to March – the Centre now has 8 Practitioners, we all meet once a month to discuss any issues and also how we are getting on. There has been a lovely referring of clients across the Centre. Clients are now able to access a diverse range of therapies. Many of these, they may not have considered, but knowing that we all are working together has enabled them to trust in something new.
It is still early days and I know that there will be more changes ahead. It is an exciting time for my previous one lady practice! With the other team members opening up a whole range of Therapies, we cannot wait to see what the next few months are going to bring.
For now our list of Therapies is:
There really is something for everyone! We are busy sharing treatments, so that we can ensure we know exactly how the other Therapies feel, (not a bad down side!).
Still the focus remains – What is the best thing for the client? The key is knowing each client, that comes with allowing time for each session. This is integral to the Centre – no matter which Practitioner you see. Giving time to each client, ensuring that they receive the individual attention they need, this is fundamental at the Centre. This is not a ‘revolving door’ clinic, the basis for all Therapies is client focused, what is best for each and every person that we see.
If you would like any more information on any of our Therapies or Practitioners then please see the Therapist’s Page. There is a full list with the contact details for each Practitioner and a description of the Therapy that they provide.
